The Christian Creek Hunting Club was started in 1999 by Josh Webster (Youth Minister at the Florence Blvd. church of Christ, in Florence Alabama).  Josh and a few of his friends had the idea for a hunting club that would put an emphasis on Christian Fellowship and Mentoring Young People.  With that as our goal we started the club.  After the first year we implemented a management plan that restricted the buck harvest to Six-Points and better.  We also encouraged the membership to take as many Does as possible.  Through the years we have made improvements on the land and we have seen improvements in ourselves!  As we grow closer to each other we are drawn closer to the great God and Father who created us and all that we have.  The club started with the total membership being made of up of ministers in the churches of Christ from all over Alabama.  But in the last few years we have opened the membership to those outside the ministry.  We still expect our members to use the land to minister to others and to influence our young people and other friends for The Lord Jesus.  We participate in Alabama's "Youth Hunts" and we take great delight in hosting a "Wheelin' Sportsmen" event on the second weekend of December.  The club is now managed by Caleb & Trae Durden.  Caleb is the top selling bow-tech for the Gander Mountain chain of outdoor stores and Trae is a husband and Father who loves his family and does everything he can to ensure their happiness in the Lord Jesus!  He works with a Non-profit healthcare organization that serves the community in the Huntsville, Alabama Region.
