Any Federal or State law will supersede any rule contained herein. The following rules and regulations shall be binding upon each person associated with the “ChristianCreek Hunting Club” as a member or a guest basis:
I.Game Laws of the State, County, and Club:
a.Each member will obey the game laws of the state, county, and club. Each member will not under any circumstances knowingly or willingly violate any provision set forth by the authorities.
b.Members will not withhold evidence that tend to, or lead to the conviction of a game violation of any person, even though he is a friend or kinsman. Members will at all times obey the rules and regulations of the state; members will report any violations of the law to the authorities.
c.Members must have a valid hunting license. If a hunting license is not required because of age, etc. The hunter must have completed the Alabama Hunter’s Safety Course to hunt alone.
d.Hunters orange must be worn when not in a stand of at least Twelve feet in height.
e.All hunters on the premises wither member or guest are expected to use good judgement when harvesting a Whitetail Buck. No healthy buck under Six points will be taken.
f.Any hunter who takes a buck with less than eight points will be required to pay $100.00 into the club treasury. Each violation of the eight point rule after the first violation will incur a $100.00 fine. The fine(s) must be paid to the president before that hunter may take to the field again.
g.No alcoholic beverages or public drunkenness will be permitted on club land. Violation of this rule will result in the expulsion of that member from the club with no refund of dues.
h.This is a “Christian” club; no guest displaying behavior unbecoming of a Christian will be permitted to hunt on club land. No cursing or swearing by members or guests.
i.No dog hunting.
j.All provisions set forth by R.M.S must be strictly adhered to.
II.Membership
a.The total number of members and the selection of those members will be determined by the executive council. The executive council will be comprised of the president and the lease holder.
b.The president and the lease holder are exempt from membership dues.
c.The president shall set the annual membership dues for an amount sufficient to any expenses of the club and shall set due dates at least Two weeks prior to the deadline set forth by the International Paper Company/R.M.S. Members who have not paid their dues by Two weeks after the due date will be dropped from the membership list and they must return their keys to the president.
d. A Member's Spouse may obtain a membership at Half the cost of the regular membership fee. In the event that any membership votes are necessary, the married couple together constitutes only one vote. The married couple will only be expected to pay one fee if a work day is missed by both of them.
e.Member’s children are permitted to hunt on the club land, given they are in undergraduate college or younger. If a member’s child “drops out” of school they will be considered a guest. See section III on “Guests”.
f.Club workdays will be announced. A fee of $80.00 will be expected of any absent member. If a member should so choose he could pay the fees in accordance with the days that he expects to miss and not have any obligation to appear on a given day. Members are expected to make every effort to attend and to accomplish set goals of each workday. Exceptions may be made by the president.
g. Sign in boards are on each side of the creek. If one hunts on the North side his marker shall be positioned on the sign in board, on the North side, so as to notify all others of his whereabouts. Likewise on the South side. Markers shall be taken down after each hunt. In no circumstance will a member leave a marker on the board while he is not in that spot.
h.The president will settle any and all disagreements and/or arguments between persons hunting on the club land.
III.Guests
a.A guest will never hunt on the club land without the member who gave the invitation being present.
b.A guest will be permitted to hunt on the club land no more than Four days in one year.
c.A member may bring one guest per month at no cost. However if an additional guest is approved by the president to be brought in the same month the Second guest will pay a fee of Twenty dollars ($20.00).
d.A member may bring no more than ONE guest in a month. Unless approved by the president at least one week prior to the hunt.
e.Any child of a member who is not enrolled in school or who is not in undergraduate college is to be considered a guest.
f.No guest under 18 years of age will be permitted to hunt without a responsible adult member at least 21 years of age present.
g.No child of a member will bring a guest, without the member (parent) being present.
h.No guests will hunt on the club land during the first week of the season, or the last week of the season.
IV.Miscellaneous Rules
a.No gun is to be loaded until the hunter is on the stand.
b.While on the club land members will diligently guard against grass and forest fires. They will make every effort to enlist help from the Fire Department and/or others to extinguish any wild fires of which they have knowledge.
c.All campfires will be extinguished completely before the campsite is left. No campfires will be left unattended.
d.Any member using camp, cleaning rack, ATV’s, stands, or other club property will be responsible for cleaning the area and disposing of any trash.
e.All entrails of harvested game will be disposed of in a manner that complies with state regulations.
f.All members are expected to keep from making any “bog” holes in the roadways. Keep vehicular use to a minimum in areas where the soil is saturated with water to the point that deep ruts will result from driving.
g.No one will leave the perimeters of the stand that they have signed out for. If it is imperative that one leave his stand, he must return to the sign-in board prior to making his way to any other stand.
h. Sunday is the Lord's Day. If one has the opportunity to hunt on the Lord's Day, it should NOT keep him from the assembly of the Saints. Missing the gathering of Christians is unacceptable as we try to exhibit the life of Christians.
i.No one on club land will walk, scout, or ride into any hunting area. All must check the sign-in boards before entering any area on the land.
j.While members and guests are encouraged to harvest does, No one will take a doe while hunting on certain food plots. These protected plots are: Bean, Kill-o, Ridge top, & Bobcat. Does are fair game in the woods, and at all other food plots.
k.Every deer harvested must be recorded, Photographed, and the jawbone must be removed and saved for our records, any member who does not record the proper information, and save the jawbone of each deer will be expelled from the membership immediately.
l.All members are expected to behave in a manner that pleases our Heavenly Father.
m.Use this land to further the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Any violation of Federal, State, County, Club, or lease regulations will be grounds for dismissal from the club with no refund.
